ILOILO CITY – The Medical City (TMC) Iloilo officially launched this city’s first full-blown Occupational Therapy (OT) Program in a hospital setting on March 1.
In partnership with The B Academy PH, an Iloilo-based Family Technology company pioneered by a group of occupational therapists, special needs educators, and early intervention specialists, TMC Iloilo’s Occupational Therapy Program is seen to empower individuals to achieve independence and maximize their potential in daily life activities.

The said partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing event attended by representatives of The B Academy PH led by its Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder Gene Woo and TMC Iloilo led by its Chief Clinical Officer Dr. Debbie Noblezada-Uy.
TMC Iloilo’s Occupational Therapy Program offers consultation, screening and assessment, and intervention services for pediatrics, adult, and elderly patients suffering from various mental and physical health conditions. These include patients recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions, and seeking support for developmental disorders, among others.
“We are very happy to partner with TMC Iloilo for its Occupational Therapy Program. This program will truly benefit patients as this hospital is proven in providing personalized interventions tailored to their healthcare needs,” The B Academy PH CEO and Co-founder Gene Woo noted.
Meanwhile, TMC Iloilo Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Prince Juliene Hermaine Celo expressed his enthusiasm for the program’s launch. “Our Occupational Therapy Program is part of our commitment to delivering comprehensive and patient-centered care. Consultation for TMC Iloilo’s Occupational Therapy Program is available at TMC Iloilo Clinic at Festive Walk Iloilo every Monday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and TMC Iloilo Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department every Friday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
