Zapp Donuts – delectable and very affordable donut is now invading Iloilo City to bring each Ilonggo family a box of donuts with much excitement at their dining table. A taste of real donuts that will satisfy the cravings of Ilonggos is now making a way to wake up entrepreneurs inside of many in Iloilo City.
“Decades ago, Americans awakened the dull and sleepy Filipino taste palate and introduced delicious round sweets that gave our taste preference a wake-up jolt and forever changed the way we enjoy the indulgence.” – Zapp Donuts
Bluejay Coffee and Co. had its new menu grand launching with their latest promo – #PayWhatYouWant – and everyone was invited. The promo happened on three branches in separate dates – August 15 at The Medical City (7AM-8PM), 17 at Ayala Techno Hub (7AM-12AM) and SM City Iloilo (7AM-9PM). For me, it was a great deal and a great chance to spread the word out about their new menu. So how was the experience?
The “New Look” – “Reloaded” – Kusina Tsina is back on its feet; tastier, better, and more Chinese food to offer. Being one of the restaurants in Iloilo serving Chinese cuisine for almost a decade, they have some bumps along their way. But nonetheless, they kept their ground. Eugene Chua, the co-owner of the resto, once said that the relaunching is to prove that they are really serious about improving the service – more than just the new color theme, RED. He is back to make Kusina Tsina great again.
Well, after having some relaxing moments from a foot spa, let me take you to a totally new experience (at least for me) on a waxing salon. Most of the time, after traveling or fulfilling some duties here and there, I notice the effect of energy-draining errands on my face. My eyes are drooping and my skin feels like I went to war (really!). Realizing this, I will look closer and will see those stubborn facial hairs on my face especially on the lip area.
So I think, at the end of some tiring day, I will get a professional service to deal with my facial hairs. Finally, for the first time, I tried “lip threading” from an established waxing salon in the country – Hey Sugar Waxing Salon. Want to see how it went?
Having some busy day filled with errands that required walking (even running) from one point to another makes my feet whine for some reasons. This is also true for people who love traveling. After a long day enjoying some panoramic views, you would want to relax in any way. Tired feet badly need some foot spa and massages. So here I go!
I found a place that really gave me one of the best and most relaxing foot spa. Here’s Nailaholics – Nail Salon and Spa. Want to know how it all went?
Book Latte, Iloilo City’ first library cafe, continues to set out classic tastes in the city. Just last week, July 19, 2017, they officially launched their new combinations of delicious dishes. Now, you can enjoy and savor the scrumptious meals for only 99 Ph pesos. Get ready for some gastronomic escapade!
Iloilo City has been a food crib to Ilonggos where different gastronomic adventures can be experienced even in just one province. After enjoying a cool savory twist from Lar’s Buko Batchoy, let’s go for another food adventure. Just a few kilometers away from the downtown city proper, you can enjoy a cozy place with great dishes at Cafe Gloria. From a relaxing ambiance secluded from the noise of the noise of the city to its luscious food, you will surely have a time of your life! So what’s my story?
Welcoming our students this school year 2017-2018 is some great back to school sale on our favorite food. So, I just scraped two of my fave food cribs – Book Latte and BnB Charcoal Burgers – and their big slash sale for all the students out there. Check these out!
After experiencing great coffee and amazing stories from Excursion Cafe, I am down to some fusion of passions in Iloilo City. Look where my feet took me on this journey – Lar’s Buko Batchoy in Mandurriao, Iloilo.
Just a few block away from Plaza Mandurriao, a humble place of passion exists to serve the crowd of Ilonggos and tourists.
Having Batchoyoriginating in La Paz, Iloilo City, the passion for this delicacy evolved to another mixture of taste. The life booster of coconut juice and meat added a new experience in eating Batchoy. Now, it is called Coconutchoy!
