Heart Care 360 Exhibit by The Medical City Iloilo

Love filled the air at Festive Walk Mall today, but beyond the flowers and sweet gestures, a more powerful message echoed on the second floor, take care of your heart with The Medical City Iloilo and their Heart Care 360 Exhibit.

This Valentine’s Day, The Medical City Iloilo opened its Heart Care 360 Exhibit, inviting Ilonggos to celebrate love by prioritizing wellness. Instead of the usual date ideas, families, couples, and mallgoers paused to engage in meaningful conversations about cardiovascular health, learning that the most important relationship we nurture is the one with our own body.

The exhibit transformed a mall space into an educational and interactive experience. Guests participated in engaging activities designed to make heart health easier to understand and more relatable. Free non-communicable disease (NCD) screenings were made available, giving visitors immediate access to preventive care. For many, it was a timely reminder that awareness and early detection can save lives.

Adding more value to the day, attendees received discount vouchers for essential cardiac diagnostic tests, an opportunity that encourages proactive monitoring rather than reactive treatment. It was a practical way of saying that caring for your heart doesn’t have to wait for symptoms.

The opening ceremony gathered respected personalities and health leaders, including Dr. Kristy Garganera-Tugbang, Interventional Cardiologist; Vice Mayor Jose Olivarez of Oton; Hazel Jane Te; Dr. Debbie Noblezada-Uy, Chief Medical Officer; and Prince Hermaine Celo, Head of Marketing, Sales and Business Development. Their presence underscored a unified commitment to making heart care more accessible across Western Visayas.
