Consumers of Iloilo City’s Power Company showed their passion, grit and singing prowess in MORE Power Kantahan. A video challenge that is geared towards celebrating the all-time favorite of Filipinos – videoke.
May it be birthdays, reunions, or Christmas parties, videoke turns these simple celebrations into a festive mood.
Contestants from Bo. Obrero took the first round with true dedication as they sing a song with a word “More” in its title.” The second challenge, they need to sing the MORE Power Up jingle.
Each of them took this by heart. The winner will compete in the knock-out round for the district level, then up until the city-wide level for the championship.
“Nami gid eh kasadya kag makakuha gid sa mga barangay. Huo eh lipay ko ya at least nakita ko akon performance. Nami man kay ang ila ano sa billing dasig,” suno sa isa sa mga contestant.
“Masadya kag malipay man ta sa amon nga mga senior,” pahayag ni Vicente Espinosa.
“Baw maayo gid ni para kabalo man nga ang MORE nagapakita sang kaayuhan sa Barangay. Maayo gid na maguwa ang talent sang atun manug kanta sa baranga,” pahayag ni Kagawad Norden Opolla.

Pag apply ko sa Del Rio, dasig, 1 week may kuntador na ko. 1 week may suga na ko. Amo na pasalamat gid ako sa MORE,” according to one contestant.
